WCK's Response to DANA Alice in Spain (Oct. 2025)

World Central Kitchen’s Relief Team was on the ground in La Ràpita, Catalonia, Spain to support food and water needs after severe flooding.
DANA had severely affected Spain, causing heavy flooding in several areas. Intense rainfall had disrupted parts of the Mediterranean coast, and multiple weather alerts remained active as rain continued across the region.
The most affected municipalities were La Ràpita, Santa Bàrbara, and Godall, where homes, streets, and infrastructure were damaged by flooding. Hundreds of people sought shelter at the height of the storm, and most later returned home to begin cleanup.
WCK distributed more than 1,500 meals to first responders and residents.

La DANA Alice afecto gravemente la región sur de Cataluña, provocando fuertes inundaciones en varias zonas. Los municipios más afectados fueron La Ràpita, Santa Bàrbara y Godall, donde viviendas, calles e infraestructuras sufrieron daños importantes.
