Susan was an investor and board member in Room to Read for a decade. She cared deeply and was very meaningfully committed to our mission to create a world free from illiteracy and gender inequality, through education. In recent years, she was working with the Room to Read team to consider the intersection of media and education and became the game-changing investor and visionary who helped us develop our multimedia effort including the film "She Creates Change", which will release publicly for International Day of the Girl this year. Her memory will live on in the millions of children - especially girls - whose lives will be forever improved because of her leadership, kindness and generosity. She encouraged us all to be bolder and braver in our pursuit of world change.
